Lanette and Brody are one of those warm, welcoming couples that you feel you have known forever. You can tell they are each other's best friend, and their love for one another is very clear. They are also blessed with inviting, fun-loving friends and family, and from the beginning it was obvious that their wedding day was going to be a blast.
Lanette, stunning in a lace mermaid style gown, and Brody, very handsome in his grey suit, said their "I do's" under a willow tree beside the river in Grinrod. With haybales for guest seating and the old tree as the perfect backdrop, the stage was set for a beautiful country wedding.
The bride and groom and their wedding party hitched a ride to the reception in beautifully restored vintage cars. The small town country theme was carried all the way through to the guests' transportation to the reception- a big ol' yellow school bus!
Lanette and Brody's reception was held at the Lion's Gazebo at the Enderby Baseball Diamonds- another first for Stage Right. This unique venue was complimented by the couple's vision for romantic country elegance. Rustic boards of reclaimed barn wood ran down the centre of the tables, and were topped with crystal cups, mason jars, floating candles and country-inspired floral arrangements. Lawn games, mad libs, and a popcorn bar were fun touches that family and friends shared laughs over throughout the evening.
Mason jar chandeliers and twinkling lights cast a warm glow above the dance floor where the bride and groom shared their first dance.
Congratulations Lanette and Brody! We had so much fun getting to know you, and wish you a lifetime of love and laughter.
